For Vanity Fair, where I've been on staff since 2018, I've written a cover story about Billie Eilish, talked selfhood with Natalie Portman and underdogs with Dev Patel, crashed a breakfast date with Rose Byrne and Bobby Canavale, received advice on aging from Marina Abramovic, heard a marriage confession from Ina Garten, discussed grief with chef José Andres, spoken with E. Jean Caroll a week after she went public with her allegations, teased out entertaining tips from Deeda Blair, and gotten a reading from Demi Moore and Brad Pitt's trusted psychic. 

I took a deep and rollicking dive into the unlikely early days of IVF research (involving 40,000 liters of urine from nuns), and sussed out the consequences of one rich Maine vacation town dweller poisoning her neighbor's trees. I've dwelt in the literary home of Alan Dershowitz, spoken with Mark Lemley about suing DOGE, written an early-pandemic feature about RFK Jr.'s vaccine "skepticism," and investigated how Meta deemed more than 7 million books to have no "economic value." I wrote about Melania Trump's memoir, which was bad. 

In the world of fashion, I've profiled creative titans of the industry including Miuccia Prada, Nicolas Ghesquière, and Gabriela Hearst. ​

Books are my first great love, and I could chat with the people who write them all day. Here are my conversations with RO Kwon, Margaret Atwood, Marlon James, Catherine Lacey, Darryl Pinckney, Lili Anolik, Lore Segal, C Pam Zhang, AM Homes, James Frey, Lauren Oyler, Amy Odell, Emily Wilson, and Bruce Eric Kaplan. When I was on staff at Elle Magazine, I profiled Zadie Smith, Nicole Krauss, and Rebecca Solnit. One of my first features, published in 2015, was about falling for Véra and Vladimir Nabokov's love story. 

The Los Angeles Review of Books published "The Retreat," my spooky short story about writing and guilt in their Occult Issue. Vol. 1 Brooklyn published "The Last Migration," a short story about whales and bones. 

I've also had the pleasure of editing countless writers on stories that range from a beautiful profile of LA's Stahl House and a meditation on a Louis Vuitton bag, to investigations into a mysterious crypto king's death and how the ransom payment for a stolen Magritte painting may have funded a terrorist cell.
